She has always done all of these various ministries with a cheerful smile, faithful commitment, and energetic enthusiasm that reflects the light of Christ within her to us and to the greater community. Please join our vestry in offering Sharon our heartfelt thanks for all that she does to make Trinity Church such a unique and welcoming faith community and our joyful congratulations for being this year’s recipient of this prestigious award!
My first round serving on Trinity’s Vestry (then Epiphany) was 30 years ago, and 26 years ago I accepted the (first round) role of Warden. Ever since, I have been gratefully serving in various leadership and support capacities. And something I have always recognized: Every church is “alive” through the Holy Spirit breathing life into the wonderful and wondrous works of so many people, and Trinity is no different. In fact, Trinity (Epiphany/Good Shepherd/Trinity) has always enjoyed a small-sized congregation, which has benefited from many parishioners who have been (and continue to be) pillars of support. I have lots of good company. My sincere thanks for the nomination!
