Concrete Pour has been postponed to Tuesday, September 30th.
The concrete pour for our foundation slab will begin at 7:00 am sharp on Tuesday morning, September 30th and will continue ALL DAY and into the evening. It is important that the workers start early and do not stop so that they are not pouring in the dark. Once the pour begins, it cannot stop for any reason, or we will not achieve the desired effect of a smooth slab with strong joints. There will be approximately 23 concrete trucks coming and going throughout the day, and the entire parking lot must be clear and empty so that the conveyors can be set up, trucks and workers can have access, etc.
Our contractor, Anthony Baglino, has insisted that the church and parking lot area be totally empty on TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY of next week and that no one is on the premises at that time. It is very dangerous for anyone who is not necessary to the pour to be in the area at that time. Please plan any church related activities or necessary church errands this week so that you will not be on the church property on Tuesday and Wednesday. We are sorry for any inconvenience this causes but this will be done shortly and once the slab is poured and set the framing should go up quickly.
Thank you to everyone for your continued patience with this process.
