Cover-The Color of Law

Fall Trinity Church Social Justice Discussion Group on Books About Racism

The Trinity Social Justice Discussion Group will hold our next meeting Tuesday, December 8 at 7:30 via Zoom.  We will discuss The Color of Law: A Forgetten History of How Our Government Segregated America, by Richard Rothstein. New York Times Bestseller • Notable Book of the Year • Editors' Choice Selection • One of Bill Gates’ “Amazing Books” of the Year.

Richard Rothstein argues with exacting precision and fascinating insight how segregation in America—the incessant kind that continues to dog our major cities and has contributed to so much recent social strife—is the byproduct of explicit government policies at the local, state, and federal levels.

Longlisted for the 2017 National Book Award and one of Publishers Weekly’s 10 Best Books of 2017
