We have a Rector!

 

The Wardens and Vestry of Trinity Church are delighted to share the joyful news that Fr. Raul E. Ausa, who has served Trinity as Priest-in-Charge since September of 2020, has officially been elected as our Second Rector!

Fr. Raul graduated from Berkeley Divinity School at Yale in 2020 and served on the staff of the Diocese of Newark as a Deacon-on-Staff before coming to join us as our Priest-in-Charge. Prior to attending seminary, Fr. Raul earned his Bachelor's in Social Work (BSW) and worked in Newark as an Investigator for the NJ Department of Children and Families. He is a member of the Society of Catholic Priests and currently serves on the Diocesan Council and Commission on Ministry of the Diocese of Newark.​

We thank Fr. Raul, his wife Sierra, his mother Laura, and their dog Maggie, for accepting our call to live and serve among us and for all the contributions that they have already made to our parish and community in these first two years.
