About Us
Our Mission
To offer beautiful, reverent, and transformative worship to God, form disciples of Jesus Christ, and serve our neighbors
Our Community

Trinity Church was established in 2010 by the union of two parishes, The Church of the Epiphany in Allendale and The Church of the Good Shepherd in Midland Park. Thus, Trinity represents the ongoing presence of The Episcopal Church in this part of New Jersey since 1872.

Trinity is a community made up of faithful and loving parishioners with a deep commitment to reverent worship in the Anglican tradition, warm fellowship and hospitality, and compassionate service and love for our neighbors.

Clergy

Fr. Raul E. Ausa was appointed as Priest-in-Charge of Trinity Church in September of 2020 and subsequently elected as our 2nd Rector in May of 2022. He is a graduate of Berkeley Divinity School at Yale where he received his Master of Divinity degree and Certificate in Anglican Studies.

Prior to attending seminary, he studied at Seton Hall University and earned his Bachelor of Social Work degree, after which he worked as an Investigator for the NJ Department of Children and Families. Fr. Raul is passionate about the rich tradition of Anglican liturgy and worship, as well as the Church's call to help build a more just society. He is a member of the Society of Catholic Priests (SCP), which promotes priestly spirituality and the Catholic tradition within the Episcopal Church and Anglican Church of Canada.

Fr. Raul lives at the Rectory with his wife, Sierra, his mother, Laura, and their English bulldog, Maggie.
